Best $8 folding one hand small pocket knife review

Best cheap folding one hand small pocket knife review. This is my review of the M Tech USA A882 folding pocket knife. I wanted a very small folding knife I could open with one hand. It had to be high quality and cost as little as possible. I looked at dozens of knives. I chose the M-Tech A882. I am pretty happy with it. there are better knives, but not at this price. I think it is as good or better than any under $10 knife I have seen.
One thing I did not mention in the video is I think the lever on the knife can be used to break a car window if you were in a car that was sinking in the water and you needed to bust out the windows.

here is the amazon link to the knife

PSA: it is totally illegal to possess or even attempt to import a ‘flick knife’ such as this in all states of Australia (and NZ)–if you arrive with one in your luggage or you’re ever in public with one of these about you, you can be arrested for carrying a concealed (and illegal) weapon … really serious charge …

just bought a pink one of these for my fiancee.

I had bought a few in different colors and they work great

Nice Robb, great price for solid quality.

Phil sarusal says:

Looks like you can use the clip for Hex, maybe?

William Gale says:

LOL I also have a fishing lure story like that. No rock or drowning risk , but involved a banana box , forty to sixty lures, and being attached to said box by dominate hand
Anyway, was wondering how easy it is to open. I recently had a mild stroke that effected dexterity in thunbs ( can still work a slide lock tho TG). This is the price I’m looking for. Just looking for a edc “get off me” blasde.

do you sell

eronavbj says:

I bought one of these in orange because I just wanted something cheap and small to carry around while doing yard work. I have been pleasantly surprised by just what a good all-around knife this is. At $6.99, you can’t beat it.

FrozenByFire3 says:

That’s the most dull knife I’ve seen… Can’t even cut thick paper…………. Get a cold steel micro recon 1 for 25$… 15$ more for a knife that’s 30x better. Not garbage ass M-Tech chinesium steel, not a garbage liner lock that’s gonna wear down in 2-3 years.

Just found your channel ..Good review Great boat story !

Brian McWhorter says:

great story. cool knife. You should tell more stories.

Jacob Young says:

what about a boker nano? its small one handed opening and has a real good steel for the price

choffidge says:

I hit the like on this video as soon as I heard your voice, and what a cool story to boot. I can only imagine what other adventures you’ve got to tell us about. If only you had a go pro then. I’m looking forward to hearing some more

B Richardson says:

I love it

Just got mine, I think it is a good blade for the money but you can feel where corners were cut innorder to reduce costs. some edges are sharp and the edge came with a small pit (I will resharpen it to fix the edge) also, mine is kot as easy to close as yours but, all in all, for 9$ (after shipping to my country) I think it is a great deal because the construction feels solid and the whole knife feels trustworthy. I think I was just unlucky

Sheila6325 says:

I got my knife today, and I love it, and it’s the perfect size for me, HOWEVER, I can’t get it to close. Any suggestions? I’ve worked with it, but it won’t budge. This knife fits my hand so great, that I have to figure this out. I really like it that much. If it takes a hot bubble bath I will do it. Let me know what you think. WD40 ? LOL   Bless, Sheila

HELLO…I JUST RECIEVED THE SAME KNIFE IN THE MAIL TODAY AND IM VERY PLEASED. IM A COLLECTOR OF KNIVES FOR MANY YEARS AND CARRY MANY DIFFERENT STYLES AND SIZES. ALTHOUGH I EDC TWO MEDIUM SIZED KARAMBITS EVERY TIME I LEAVE THE HOUSE FOR SELF DEFENSE I PREFER A LARGER KNIFE THAN THIS MODEL BUT IM VERY SATISFIED IN MY PURCHASE. THANK YOU FOR READING THIS.

Richi805 says:

couldn’t find videos on this specific model except yours. I found this for less than 8 with free shipping. I wanted a knive with a bottle opener but a small blade so if I ever get detained by a police officer, it won’t be considered a weapon since the blade is smaller than the legal requirements. awesome video :)

0xoButterflyox0 says:

That is a nice pocket knife :)

celeriacmarcus says:

I never had a folding knife before but I might get one like this. What’s the reason for the serrated blade and the hole in the middle?

Gillysaurxx says:

A knockoff kershaw shuffle? Why not just buy the original?

Sheila6325 says:

Before I made this comment I went and got one! This is exactly what I have been looking for. It’s just the right size, and doesn’t need to be pulled to get it open. I don’t use a lot of knives, but I do have a few, and I love them, because I waited until I get just what I wanted. I have one like yours but a bit smaller, it even looks like a fish LOL and although it’s not hard to open, sometimes it takes  more work than I want it to, so this will be just right for me. I found that my little fish knife is really sharp and works great and is very small, and for me, the small ones work better. Thanks Rob, just what I needed!

lalaprepper says:

Thats a really nice pocket knife Robb

EarlyMist says:

Hi. Looks nice. like a semi clone of a Kershaw Shuffle. You should be much safer closing it by taking your first step with closing to flipper on the thumb, then getting your thumb well out of the way and use your pointer finger to close it from there. Only two steps then and much safer. I just tried your three step method and on all my flippers it felt unnecessarily unsafe to include the second step as you thumb is so close to the cutting edge even with that thumb nail groove. cheers

david tcruz says:

i have this knife and i am a kid 10 years

BlueRedGooGoo says:

This is a Kershaw shuffle lookalike
