These are utility knife type blades, they are ceramic and fit the Gerber EAB folding utility knife, they are sharp like razor blades. They are sold in 3-packs, price is around $12. They are meant for fine cutting rather than hard use cutting. In the pack that I got, 2 were extremely sharp and 1 was not as sharp. Overall, a good way to add more flexibility to a utility knife, or can be used in a small kit as a stand alone sharp edge, they will not rust.

Please visit http://www.sliceproducts.com to see our line of ceramic blade box cutters and safety cutters including our 10524 ceramic utility blade that fits in most utility knives – I think you’ll find the quality superior to anything on the market.
Why you need a ceramic blade? You are not cutting fruits with that blade.
Israel, at 1:27, that’s some 70’s porno audio dude.
Can you resharp’n them ?
how would this compare to an x-acto knife for detail cutting of vinyl, thin cardboard, matboard or artist papers?
I find x-acto to be very limited in doing what it is supposed to be designed for.
If this is the ceramic material i think it is, this material is harder than steel and almost rivals diamond, and i japan master chefs use em to make the best ikifuksi. the fresh fish will have absolute pure taste, and if you wanna sharpen one of these you need diamond file or other diamond product because it is just so hard
I like ceramic blades a lot. I’ve always wanted to own one but I was kinda unsure of how would I sharpen it if it went dull but those replaceable ones are a very smart idea and they stay sharp longer than steel so I might get a couple of those. However, I wonder what would happen if you tried to sharpen a ceramic blade with a diamond sharpening stone, would the stone wear off?
Thanks for the vid mate.
gerber eab vs eab lite?
awesome i found one of those on the ground one time…now i know what they are called (mine fell out of my pocket and found another owner) But now I can buy one of my own SWEET.
Is that another Gerber knife you actually like?
very clever invention
I used a ceramic blade in mine and within a week it snapped in half, lucky i didnt cut myself when the ceramic blade decided to fail, I paid 15 dollars for 3 ceramic utility blade that are just too weak for anything other than cutting paper on a cutting mat definitely not a utility blade. This is a disposible blade knife ment to use cheap replaceable blades.
Nice gerber box cutter. Thanks for sharing
Will the hold up as well and as long as the regular steel ones?
How long do they last? Would you recommend them for carpet?
sweet little cutter, over here we call girls buts cutters cause they cut… I wont say it lol
“yeah, you liked that”
I found a whole website about ceramic knives. Here are the pros and cons: http://www.myceramicknives.com/ceramic-vs-metal
Whats better between this and the eab lite?
