Trying out my new Rapala electric filleting knife that I won in a local bass tournament.

missed the cheeks and butterflies ! never seen them ripped down the middle like that ! different .
Great Video. You seemed to be faster with the regular knife. Maybe do a video when you get a ton of pan fish…
Next time with the electric, cut straight through the ribs, then cut them off after. It’s a lot easier than trying to cut over them like you would with the regular fillet knife. 🙂 great vid keep em up
close your eyes and watch the video, sounds like a wood shop competition.
Great stuff….. cook it whole it much easier hehe . Hey thanks again for the great time. Hope to see some bird hunting vids. Cheers.
Nicely done video bud, compares the two well. I think both knifes have their place. Here the limit is only 4 walleye, and often the one’s I’m keeping are far, far from the size of the one in my picture. With those I like the finesse of a fillet knife. Come ice fishing season though we will be hauling off buckets filled to the brim with perch. And for those, the electric knife makes quick work.
Thanks for sharing chum, hope the fishing season has been good to ya. Was a hot one this year
Thanks for the comparison. Not crazy about the electrics bulk, noise, and the power cord. I think they’ll improve.
ñice video my wife would never allow this haha
I’m just wondering if it wouldn’t be easier to fillet the fish next to the sink.
