Benchmade Hunt Series – The Art of Pursuit Hunt – KnifeCenter

Available at KnifeCenter.

Research projects, R&D lab tests and many miles of field research provided the foundation for the design and development of Benchmade HUNT. Built from advanced materials usually reserved for spaceships and surgical equipment, these technologically advanced hunting knives provide refined performance and rugged durability. Benchmade HUNT. The art of pursuit.

Taylor Hayden says:

So, would I be a fool to use this knife as a bushcraft instead of a hunting knife? I am not a hunter, but I am certainly an outdoorsman in need of a good field knife. I very much like the look of this knife as compared to Benchmade’s Bushcraft Sibert. Thoughts?

Salman Tsybikov says:

Слишком большая конкуренция потому что среди “нефункционалов”. А охотникам им действительно есть что представить.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please tell me why such a “premium” steel (benchmade is really hyping it up here) is being ruined with a pull through sharpener.  You can see ALL the metal on the carbide edge.  Sad day indeed.  The edge is just destroyed after sharpeners like those pictured here.

Yup Suree, I love my Benchmade Bushcrafter #162 mine is the First Production Run #299 when they first came out. I love the Sheath too and I never had any problems with it, it’s compact, great for hikes, scouting a new area when looking for fatwood, Yeah I can say it’s one of my Fav’s. The only question I have is : why didn’t Benchmade complete the dangler set up, it comes with a d-ring but no frog to put it through the belt as a dangler, without the leather frog it rides too high for ne, so I got one from Battle Horse and it matches near perfect, I love it, it’s a great compact carry set with my 2Hawks Double Bit Hatchet and my Wicked Tough Saw, as far as the Bushcrafter #162 it’s Simply TiT’s.
