Temple of the Dog says:

can you do a review of your #1 choice of ax or tomahawk, machete and knive if you had to pack out with each of your favorites. thanks.

Mt. Baldwin says:

Condor puts that coating on knives like the moonshiner don’t they? I contacted them and asked if it has a coating and they said no. I put a vinegar patina on it and it looked like a chemical burn or something. I knew they put a damn coating on those polished knives!

STEVO CAMATCHO says:

I have this bro i use to chop Letchon hehehe good also for Food prep cutting Water melon yeah I put edge too now very sharp good budget machete

WollongongWacko says:

some chick did a rampage and killed an uber driver with one recently, topical

WeAllJuggleKnives says:

Testing out the Ozark Trail Parang Machete. This machete does not come with an edge, so be ready to grind an edge onto it yourself if you get one. This machete is sold at Walmart, but check out the text description box for a listing of numerous other parang machetes on Amazon.

TAC-HILL says:

i got this when it first came out.. i got it at walmart for 7$ imo its a great cheap machete and even though the handle looks weird it fits your hand well.

lmckiii says:

Just bought one will test.

John Scarborough says:

How did that handle feel in your hand? hot spots? edges? And is it full tang? Clearly the temper is right for the steel so at that size it sure seems like a good buy. Heck you could use as stock material to make knives from, I’m guessing that it’s 1060 or 1075 steel

TangSooDoArnis4Life says:

I have see this machete at my local wal- mart would you like me to send you another one lol.

TheZeno4444 says:

Ozark Trail is a Walmart brand used for outdoor equipment and footwear. (The Walmart Home Office is located in the Ozark mountain region in northwest Arkansas.) My local Walmart has this machete next to the Camillus Carnivore, Gerber Compact Clearpath, Coghlans, and UST Parachete.

Goat Moag says:

Bought one a couple weeks back at wally, and it took all day to sharpen by hand, and it still needs some work. Certainly not soft, and seems like good metal.

Andrew Hondo says:

I have one of these blads I sharped with grinder and and finessed buy hand it took a couple of hours it works well but doesn’t hold a edge long but the handle felt fine and it was glove friendly
