so annoying when he says what issssssssssssssssssssssssss upppppppppppp guys…grow up brother
i would use the military (the last one)
I wear leather gloves everyday to work on a farm and I edc a kershaw shuffle. It opens easily and I can close it with the liner lock while my gloves are on. Cheap and functional. It works for me.
As a military member, I didnt see any gloves with hardened knuckles, kevlar, and fire resistant like the mechanix breacher, blackhawk SOLAG, Wiley x etc…
Worst reviewed knifed
Matt….I pissed myself dude. My family actually came in to check on me because my 9 year old thought I was having a stroke/heart attack. The audio from the cut….roflmao!
I would like to see a best fighting knives for paramilitary
Is there a knife that you can open and close with no thumbs?
For real Jamie enough with the red arrow it was funny the first time. But not 80 times later super annoying man!
I wear khakis with mechanics gloves
OJ Simpson
i use a manix 2 with gloves works great
One word: infidel.
We watching some old blade HQ videos we miss you Austin
I actually am a firefighter and I carry an 06 auto all the time
lol in NC you have to open carry “switch blades” so yea they kinda are no pants knives. I been wondering if the tip of the knife being visible from the top of your pocket qualifies as being “open carry”
No love for the OtF as usual!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just, um, asking as a boring normal citizen, do you police/military/fire department folks actually rely on personal pocket knives, or do y’all have standard issue gears that work better? I’m talking a very general average across all possible kinds of scenarios, no specifications or anything.
It seems all but maybe the Autonomous require you to take your attention off the task at hand just to open the knife.
hmmm no benchmade afo ii mentioned? I mean AFO ….Armed Forces Only? but not on the list?
Before I was medically retired I was a FF/EMT and I carried two knives one in my pocket and one in my turnout gear. The one I carried in my pocket was the benchnade Triage and in my turnout gear I kept a Gerber 06 that I got used at an army surplus store. The tip was broken off so I rounded it off and it was a great rescue knife when in full gear… till I lost it in a fire Lol then I switched to a cheap fixed blade gutting knife that had a rounded tip. No need to open or close a knife just have to remember to put it back in its sheath.
Nice video. I use the auto triage. Specifically wanted the auto version because it’s easier to open with gloves, with either hand, and the safety hook is also auto so you don’t have to worry about dexterity or ripping your rubber gloves. I was carrying a ZT 0350 plus a Benchmade Houdini, but the auto triage has all of that in one tool.

Dude, these fire Fighter gloves look so clumsy .
MTech knives are quite popular for their durability and exceptional designs. The quality of their knives is simply awesome as they are made up of the best possible materials. Knives Deal stocks the best and most durable MTech knives…. https://www.knivesdeal.com/mtech-knives
Where’s my auto Stryker?
Microtech LUDT, just love the quality and ease of use.
Why not just use a fixed blade cut out the opening and get a sturdier knife
This was a helpful video as i was considering supplying one of our local Police departments with new knives. Just gotta figure out pricing.
Cool video but one thing that wasn’t mentioned was the pocket clip. With a deep cary pocket clip it can be almost impossible to get a knife out of your pocket with leather gloves on. That’s why I prefer to carry a fixed blade if I can while wearing gloves
Love that spyderco military sweet knife
Redo the video with oven mitts
Hey braddaz, gr8 video. The editing was immaculate as always. I ride motorcycles, and do combat things so allot of the time I’m wearing either armored leather gloves (I wish you guys had thrown in some gauntlet motorcycle gloves) or armored mechanics type gloves. This video does NOT have me rethinking my Gerber. I can’t believe neither one of you picked it. Anyway, keep up the good entertainment.
my dad is a firefighter. he carries a knife with a flipper on the back in his turnout gear.
Im in the residential/light commercial electrical industry and my edc is zero tolerance 0450. Usually no gloves or mechanix style gloves with a decent dexterity. Has a reasonable flipper and frame lock has good spacing. Of course i have a sliding razor knife in the toolbelt. I do use my zt frequently on pvc conduit after cuts, to ream and smooth edges because of the structural integrity over a razor blade.
I carry the 06 auto in my daily life.
you should do a video on hunting knives or combat/ soldier knies
great vid guys. this is the video that made me buy the tr4 so tyvm ben. rip austin. haha jp i think this video needs a update. i feel like while browsing through bladehq knives i am seeing alot of hard use folders that were not on the table this time. one in particulate the Ratworx Mrx full, and the Kershaw Emerson Launch 5. ether way guys keep up the amazing knife bantering
I work in a industrial sized bakery and I have to wear those nitrile gloves all day when doing certain jobs and every time I go to leave work and sign out using our biometric scanner it never works lol. My hands are all shrivelled up from being sweaty all day.
No Contego?? A glaring omission boys. Supposedly designed for use with gloves. Black series Benchmade with glass breaker and M4.
honestly, I’m a construction work, i’ll wear cut resist, leather or mechanics gloves. I only ever carry or use a Snap off OLFA knife. Folders have no real use or place in a construction environment
Best vid editing on YT.
Those blue turnout gloves suck, most of us in my department have gone to extrication gloves
Couldn’t source any police issue gloves?
