HHA Combat Knife “BFK01 Gen 1” REVIEW

This was a long anticipated review of a series of reviews, of the EXACT same knife, the Hardcore Hardware BFK-01. I provide an introduction of the knife, followed by a fast paced set of testing events, then conclude the video with my final thoughts of the HHA BFK 01.

DETAILED TESTING BREAKDOWN AND SYNOPSIS:

SERIES OF 3 AGGRESSIVE TESTING PHASES WERE USED

PHASE 1: SURVIVAL AND BUSHCRAFT RELATED — LIGHT TO MODERATE USAGE

THIS TESTING PHASE WAS USED TO DETERMINE THE KNIFES ABILITY TO PERFORM TO CHOP LIVE WOOD AND DEAD WOOD — REASONS BEING THE LIVE WOOD FOR SHELTER CREATION AND THE DEAD WOOD FOR FIRE MAKING IN A SURVIVAL SITUATION.

PHASE 2: HAMMERING AND PRYING — MODERATE TO HEAVY USAGE

THIS NEXT PHASE OF TESTING WAS USED TO DETERMINE HOW THE KNIFE WOULD HANDLE IN A MORE STRESSFUL SITUATION WHERE ROUGHER USE WOULD BE REQUIRED — SIMILAR TO MORE OF A TACTICAL SITUATION WITH HAVING TO HAMMER OR BREAK INTO AN OBJECT OR STRUCTURE.

PHASE 3: PIERCING AND RIPPING — HEAVY TO EXTREME USE

THIS FINAL PHASE OF TESTING WAS USED TO DETERMINE THE KNIVES OVERALL PIERCING INTEGRITY AND SAWBACK CAPABILITIES — THIS IS SITUATION WAS DESIGNED AROUND THE CONCEPT OF TEARING IN OR OUT OF A LIGHT STRUCTURE OR AIRPLANE FUSELAGE IN A POSSIBLE COMBATIVE SITUATION.

Bada$$ knife. Reminds me of one of Top’s (screaming?) Eagle knives. Both tanto, serrated spine and coated

FastActionBlades says:

Awesome video man, I liked seeing you tear up the metal.  Nice tests bro.

Survivalkraft says:

That is a really good test, my friend! The only thing I would have liked to have seen would be digging. But the way it stood up to piercing and ripping, I’m sure it would be just fine! Have a good one, brother!

That’s a serious plank of steel.

Unique blade design. Good job.

Bush Camping Tools says:

See what happens when you loose your gloves or simply don’t have any ( it can happen and does in the real world) and lets see some serious action with wet hands, soaked paracord handles etc or in freezing cold conditions. This knife like the Strider cord wrapped handles (I’ve got em and used them) are mighty uncomfortable. There are no prizes for this. Also I find this really is a “plagiarism” of the Striders and seems to me  despite the company boasting about their software etc, it show’s little true innovation in military knife design but rather an re inventing of the wheel. Good presentation as always.

UrbanSuburban says:

That thing is a little scary looking….I like it
