WeAllJuggleKnives says:

Yeah, the Ka-bar is built extra heavy and beefy for utility functions. If you just wanted pure combat, this knife has more reach, is faster, and would create a much larger wound channel. So it is not as durable for utility, but as just a pure weapon it is pretty nasty.

WeAllJuggleKnives says:

Awesome, thank you for watching.

Po Muddy says:

whats a good sharpener for this blade?

Mortaxe says:

I love the SP line, the only issue I have with it is choosing just one to buy : )

WeAllJuggleKnives says:

Thanks, Colonel!

WeAllJuggleKnives says:

Yeah the guard isn’t metal or anything, I sometimes cut the back part of the guards off on these SP knives so I can apply thumb pressure on the spine in some cuts.

cowboy7x says:

Wow! I missed this review. (must have been asleep.) I love this blade. Great review as always.

Steve Richardson says:

The plastic insert can be molded (using a heat gun or by boiling the insert) to hold the knife in place. Once soft, the plastic can be molded to the shape of the blade or crimped along the length. A little Shoe Goo will hold the plastic in the nylon sheath. Still a cheap sheath, but made much better with this mod.

Mortaxe says:

Thanks for the video man, great job as always!

killkill120 says:

Have you seen”Restrepo”. It shows what war is like in afgnistan. The bad ass soliders are not how the public views them. They are just skinny young guys that like to play guitar and goof off. You hear about the seals, but the real crazy brave soliders are just regular guys. During restrepo, a soliders recieaved the medal of honor for hand to hand (or close to it) combat.

F K says:

THANK YOU awesome vid. I just got the SP-43, amazing how perfectly ground the flat grind is for slicing. One other thing, this blade shape is PERFECT for digging 1 foot deep holes in sand/grass/dirt for setting up poles/wood to hold anything from tents to shooting targets attached to 2×4’s. AND it is quick in the hand, great blade. Truly performs well in every category. $59 on Amazon right now!

WeAllJuggleKnives says:

They list the thickness as 0.1875 inches. It’s the same thickness as the SP-46, but yes SP-46 is a lot shorter.

A shearing cut is like chopping a hand off heheee
top vid as always man *****

Mikky says:

tactical blade??

jorge donato says:

a question: the hawk is metal or plastic to the handle and shank ?, is complete, reaches the back of the handle thanks?

DShiflet01 says:

That Bushcraft Parang is on my agenda too. I was planning on getting it this week, but then I ended up making plans to go see Man of Steel with a girl I know so I dipped into my blade money to have some extra money for that, As much as I like blades, I like cute girls more, heh.

Tiger-frosch says:

I love the design on that bladeshape. I’d prefer this to a clip-point

mikedifeo says:

An OK knife. As usual shitty sheath. And they missed the boat again. If they would have made this model with a 5″ blade it would sell like hotcakes. Similar ot the KABAR Mrk 1.
I think Ontario is not really concerned with the retail market. Everytime I go to their website they change something and it doesn’t work right. It is too bad beccuse I want to buy American but they really piss me off. They have the Ontario knifestore, but their options are very limited and they won’t reply to e-mails

WeAllJuggleKnives says:

Thank you!

john Mutton says:

same thickness as rat7 esee 6

WeAllJuggleKnives says:

I try not to stereotype soldiers, some are hard as nails, others might be supply clerks, ya never know. But yeah, I wouldn’t say everyone is a killer or that everyone isn’t.

WeAllJuggleKnives says:

Well, it is a military blade.

WeAllJuggleKnives says:

Thank you, Mortaxe!

IMZReady4Anything says:

Nice just don’t chop coconuts with it lol! I chipped mine doing that 😉 I picked up a factory second for $29 just had a scratch in the finnish. I love the grip the krayton provides.

WeAllJuggleKnives says:

Thanks, bro, glad you caught up to it!

VicariousReality7 says:

Very VERY good blade shape
Excellent finish
The only concern i have about them are their seemingly small tangs

WeAllJuggleKnives says:

That is a great problem to have :]

Victor Jimenez says:

What’s the difference between this one and the sp50?

WeAllJuggleKnives says:

Knifecenter, Knifeworks, Knifesupply, BladeHQ, Knifeart, many more

JOSHtheBeardedSmoker says:

What are some good knife websites?

Sharpblade says:

I love this one, love the drop point, good steel and handle. Yeah i’d like to see a diagonal strap instead on it.
Thx good review

DShiflet01 says:

I ordered one of these last night. Was shopping around, planning on ordering the new XL Talwar, a couple of Condor’s new 2013 releases, and that Higo no Kami you reviewed, found I still had some spending money, and thought this looked like a nice addition.

WeAllJuggleKnives says:

Cool, I just ordered the Talwar XL too, and I just got the new Condor Bushcraft Parang.
