Nice video! Just a few things about the partial tangs. They are stronger than you may think but are commonly seen in knives used for light to medium work like a fighting knife ( Ka Bar) , hunting knives or bushcraft.

I find it funny how not a single Fallkniven was mentioned… also vadandis v3 wasn’t mentioned as a steel, no cpm 3v or 4v, and 1090 steel is called a “strong steel”

Uh correct me if I’m wrong but I believe “toughness” actually refers to the softness and flexibility of the blade.
So high carbon steel for example is known for its “hardness,” but not it’s toughness.
(Hard but not flexible)

The best knife for tactical to practical is Kabar fighting utility knife. If it’s been used by military for such long time, then it’s good enough for survival.

the Gerber Strongarm the pretty good knife but the handle has way too many hot spots and you can’t put you thumb on the back side of the blade did you more detail work because of the shape of the handle
