GodLovesYou says:

I’m a kid and I play with knives all the time!

GSR.Security & Rescue Assistance says:

There are super high quality knives from China at the flea market by my house for like…$20-bucks so….

madmax madmax 2 says:

I think that the best knife for self defense is belt fix knife fast reaction always

The Super Z Family Vlog says:

Is there no concern with the locking mechanism failing while piercing? I remember, years ago, as a kid stabbing a log and the lock failed and it cut the top of my fingers. I’ve been using fixed blades since, but I love folders. Which lock is the safest?

littlemouse says:

you can avoid to use the safety button if you want. I think that’s not an issue.

Toby Quach says:

Swiss army classic sd!

augreich says:

I don’t buy any knives with a saftey mechanism. What’s the point if you know what your doing.

hot rod 218 hotrod 218 says:

screw it im going to bed

Paul Morse says:

Likely I will never own any of these.

Raj Patel says:

im sure glad the Contego and PM2 were on that list.

M. Hacker 681 says:

And cold steel knives?

Paul Morse says:

So into edc on you tube now.

hot rod 218 hotrod 218 says:

damn man just show the knives already

Junior Owsley says:

How many you guy’s been in a knife fight. Your talking some serious shit. Man should protect his self .The minds of people or ridiculous. These videos are for sales increase. I like the Kershaw easy to sharpen good skinning knife be realistic about your purchase. I’m not going to live where I need tools to harm another person. If it’s that bad move. Clean your mind of garbage . This shit is giveing knifes a bad rap. Reasons why your not allowed to care a knife in places .

nick gfgfgf says:

No Benchmade Adamas = no like. Sorry, dude…

rick padgett says:

You are juggling so many knives around can not keep up what you are talking about.

littlemouse says:

you can choose to not use the safety on an automatic knife there’s no problem they don’t open in your pocket.

Geoffrey Carpenter says:

kawika dav says:

I like to carry my automatic otf knifes.

T B says:

If you don’t have training, never pull a knife, doesn’t matter how great the knife is, if you can’t use it it will get you killed

The flying Banana says:

HunterKiller says:

For tactical and self defense purposes fixed blade knives is the best way to go.

forkandknife says:

Why are they all mostly folders….my microtech ultratech will beat anything in speed of deployment hands down. If you want a purely self defense knife, get an OTF, a quality OTF.

Greg M says:

Great video.

Borisav K. says:

Treba mi noz za salamu i za leba i po potrebi da nekog izbodem ako zatreba.

Steve Law says:

Who have you trained with.?

Man Like Scar says:

I love blades aswell…when i grow older i was more with my group of friends and we got more and more into trouble. Some of them are using Knifes offensive but i love caring them for Defense and secure myself aswell. I loved Knife 4 and 6 the Camo and raster Knife

Steve Law says:

Knives for self defense require more training than 90 percent of folks are ever gonna get. I trained with some very good blade guys and it’s a dangerous proposition to pull a knife without expert training

Oistin Tonk says:

Yo nutnfancy jbweld mod will save your pockets

Herb Wandrei says:

The crkt is a nice looking knife it feels good although it is heavy as shit the blade steel is only aus8 dulls very easily and the lock will fail

Joshua Abadano says:

Tanto Blade and at most probably $60- $50 Max on a good self defense knife.

Kilo Gram says:

Yeah I edc Spyderco Bug.. Pretty tactical and bad ass blade. Have it attached to my keys, so I won’t leave home without my defense tool. Really recommend it. I also carry Benchmade Adamas for light tasks like opening letters.

Julian Oley says:

Can someone explain why you would not want to lock your knife open? This is ridiculous. The first knife he shows is exactly what he doesn’t want in a self-defense knife. It’s smooth so there’s no grip and there’s no lock so the knife can close back on your fingers… That is ridiculous. I feel like that’s the MOST important part for self-defense.

augreich says:

My favorite knife is the 5 Star Gear full tang 440 stainless with titanium coating. It’s a fixed blade, comes with sheath and striker, and is a great bush knife. I do carry it EDC. Legal in Wisconsin.

T B says:

Oh I’m so scared someone pulled out a pocket knife that’s under 11 inch’s

Kobe Bryant says:

Are these knives guaranteed not to close when you hit the bone during real combat? So that your index finger or pinky doesn’t get cut by accident.

link2derek says:

I have owned, carried, and used every one of your 7 selections (and several others as well). The only two that are still in my arsenal are the Recon 1 and PM2.

Joshua Abadano says:

I was deciding between the Cold Steel Prolite Tanto or the Kershaw Freefall tanto. Would you consider those 2 effective or one better than the other?

Po Izzy says:

200th comment! Yay! I love my Recon 1 tanto and spear tip. Positive lock up and SOLID grip for $70 is a no brainer!

Google It says:

Video starts at 2:22.

Lt. Doggo says:

I have a razor tactical pink digital camo knife I got for $10 and it is really reliable and easy to use

pakalolofiend says:

This is the greatest, most honost “best pocket knife” video i seen on YouTube.. Just about every knife was quality or at least “budget” quality

proof positive says:

In a urban setting, I don’t want a knife that screams “tactical”. I also own a bunch of CRKT M series knives, and the lock is a NO-NO. I ended up giving them all away as gifts. I do recommend that para 2 and the benchmades. Easy in, easy out.
