Ganzo Knives G801-DY ‘Survival Knife’ – First Impressions

This is a tabletop opening and first impressions review of the Ganzo Knives G801-DY ‘Survival Knife’ It looks and feels like a pretty decent knife even though its 440, time will tell with use how it will hold up. Canadian Cutting Edge says:

It is indeed a Gerber Bear Grills inspired knife, with some small changes. I l like Ganzo (not Gonzo, by the way, it’s not a Muppet, LOL – I got it wrong for a while myself too)

i like that it’s a plain edge where the gerber bg knife always seems to be serrated.

House boat Rob says:

It looks like a sweet lil budget knife , let me know how it holds up.

James Ritchie says:

A fun knife, but don’t take the survival aspect seriously.  I don’t know if you’ve looked up the steel it uses, but it is not what’s marked on the blade, or in the literature.

1GunGurl says:

I bought this in the tan and the green model. They are great knives at a low price point. I like them.

KnifeCollector031 The Netherlands says:

Looks nice and capable. Never seen a fixed blade of Ganzo. Tx for sharing.
