Meh
it’s sooo… cute, the Bk2, I feel, is the best all around work, survival knife
Would like to have a fixed blade that size.
It’s $80 on Amazon. Pricey for a 1095 blade.
Nice review!!! I will need to check out this knife for sure.
Good stuff bro
Say Heah, Yeah, I have the Top’s Mini Scandi Knife, and I do wear mine as a neck knife, It’s a very small knife but if I don’t have a pocket knife on me, I really like to carry mine, Is yours tge MSK 2.5 ? Because that’s what mineis
wich knife should i get.
the esee izula or the tops msk?
Nice knife! 🙂
I suppose before I write tops knives off entirely I should try one their Scandi blades but the one tops knife I own has too thick of blade stock with such a shallow grind that you just cannot put an edge on it sharp enough to even cut yourself with very easily! Yes you could reprofile the edge but when I spend that much money I expect to have a knife that works and keeps on working and in my opinion tops are just kabar wannabes seeing how kabar made their reputation on 1095 steel on most of their lineup and its proven great over the years so a newer company tried to capitalize on that same design or idea and when push comes to shove I grab my kabar over the tops every single time!
Another great knife from TOPS! Thank you for taking the time to share.
A great and insightful review as always. Thanks for sharing!
hey first comment
Thanks for the great review on an awesome looking knife!
Could you review the Tops Cockpit Commander? Thanks you and love your videos!
Great review! I love these outdoor reviews and honestly wish you did more and uploaded outdoor knife reviews more often.
You look like a young Richard belzer from law and order svu
I love the scandi trekker. Diggin the small fixed blades for edc. will have to check this one out
Great review
Great now i have to buy it! hahaha
Good review. I have a few little neck knives I am working on that are about this size. Smaller knives are more likely to actually be there when you need them.
Sure
Oh Ok, Yeah mine is the Mini Scandi Knife, Yeah, it’s a little smaller but I love wearing it as a neck knife especially as a E D C, , ,
Good review…
It sure is a fun little blade!
Cold Steel SRK with San Mai blade or the Becker Bk2 are the best all around so called survival knives,
also Patriot Leather makes the best sheaths for both, they come made with survival tin attached if wanted
I am so use to small knifes being folders, that I am always surprised how much utility you can get out of a good small fixed blade.
can you take the micarta handles off? i want one but that could be a deal breaker
I’m not a fan of the coating on the blade. I’d have preferred a full satin finish, myself.
they made the hump now, to take the knife out. its pretty great!!
you know it’s funny. (the channels name)
I just got my Eagle rank not to long ago. but I turned 18 in March and technically got Eagle long before that. but I have just now gotten my Eagle rank. Hence why I am also a “late Eagle Scout” haha!
LOVE THE CHANNEL MAN KEEP IT UP!!
Nice
own one, good review.
can you do a review of the benchmade nakamura 484
5 out of 5 ☆’s. I’ve had one for over a year now. It’s one of my favorite neck knife that I enjoy to EDC.
Just as with any other knives, strop the edge before use and make sure to apply rust prevention on the blade (especially for knives with 1095 steel).
My other two knives that I enjoy a lot from TOPS: B.O.B and 4.0 CUT.
Is this an upgrade or different version to the MSK 2.5?
Thanks for the review Scout.
*ESEE Izula vs Tops MSK 2.5…..*
*What would YOU choose???*
I love mine.
Here is a bit of tip if you end up getting this knife: start applying rust prevention solution early on and keep on maintaining it. I say this because the sheath has a small opening on the area where the tip of the knife becomes situated once sheathed. This opening allows moisture and heat to enter, making the the tip of the knife vulnerable to rust issues (especially if you wear this knife under your shirt during hot/humid weather).
