OkeyDokey 27 says:

I’ve owned two of these, and I have to disagree and say that they are awful kniVes. My first knife completely failed to the point that it wouldn’t open or close without a lot of force. The second one was the slowest opening knife on the planet. I wanted to like it, which is why I bought two. But they just aren’t good knives

Marty Keen says:

I carry a Bear Gryls fixed blade when I hike in the forest

mark roddom says:

I need one of these bad boys.

BachikoiBabi says:

About 1/3 of all of the soldiers I met had gerber multitools (I was quartermaster so having a good set of pliers was vital). Gerber multitools were so prolific that all multitools just became known as “gerber”. I had a gerber kabar-style that I had on my assault vest (some jerk stole it) and it was honestly my favorite knife I’ve ever had.

infamouscoma886 says:

I just bought the tanto version with aluminum handle scales for $20 from a vet the knife has been to Kuwait, Afghanistan, and many other battlegrounds! I’m glad I get to own a piece of us history!

Nathan Foy says:

Had Gerbers when I was a kid, would love to try out another

Jon Williams says:

I’ve got a Gerber on my belt right now . It’s old but it’s Sharpe ! Love them and would love win one. I have some autos, but no Gerbers.

thespig13 says:

Yet they wont like us(in pa) carry these due to the evil spring/ push button

jason hom says:

great video bladehq, always look forward to watching some great vids. any chance of more bugout videos coming out?

jimmyf1312 says:

-Trust your life to a Gerber knife- no thanks

Gordon Hughes says:

I was so excited to get one of these after watching this video. Unfortunately this knife is extremely slow to open. Mine would misfire every 5th time or so due to how lackluster the power of the opening. I am not sure if this is just a fluke with the knife I got or it is common. I did read some similar reviews and just figured they were doing something wrong or had a bad one. Bummer, it seems to have a really cool history. BladeHQ was really cool about taking it back though.

ronfaircloth says:

Excellent value. I own & carry an original.

Charles Bunn says:

I’ve always wanted and 06 auto. I’ve owned/ own Gerbers for years, multi tools, gators, paraframes ect.. decent affordable knives

Sniper 021 says:

Awesome! I want one!

cdawson198600 says:

Too bad the non auto version is china made, I’ve held multiple 06 non autos and all have been gritty when opening and have that hollow felling. I love the handle but just cannot get past the gritty opening. I’m looking at the benchmade Adamas in non auto my old coworker had one from the army and I held it and it felt amazing and solid.

Ethan G says:

i’ve literally had this knife in my car for like 2 years now and i didn’t even know what t was called i think my uncle gave it to me.

Christopher Finn says:

4:44 Which multitool is that?

XD454U says:

I want one

Diesel117br says:

I love Gerber multi tools and I love and collect knives! I might need to give this one a try.

Robbie Robertson says:

Love this video! Please oh please do one on SOG knives. Maybe even include Spencer if possible. That would be super awesome. Thanks guys. Keep it up!

Nafiel says:

What state can this not be shipped to?

michael simpson says:

Great looking knife, love mine!

Colby 0101 says:

Ahmed el Badrawi says:

Short film well done.. reminds me of “meet your maker” series.. good job.

Jason N says:

I certainly learned something, I didn’t know the military issued automatics.
