Great video as always! Btw, do you recall I said in a previous vid i bought the kramer essential? So…
When I saw it from the box I was like “holy shit, look at the width of this blade, holy shit look at the size of this handle, this must be one heavy knife”.
Turns out it isn’t.
It really is quite nimble despite it’s “shape”, and it’s comfortable in a weird way. I like to pinch grip way forward on the blade, so the handle size + the choil kinda lock my hand and wrist in a position that is actually very comfortable. The profile is good for those “diagonal push cuts” and acts like a “guillotine” when you rock it. I really, really liked to use it. F&F was ok, not the best neither the worst, but, after a week of use, i noticed a weird sound when I hold tightly the grip. Turns out its defective so I sent it to get a replace. I’m fine with it because I’ll get a replacement and if that doesn’t work, I’ll get a refund, but it’s not the first time I’ve heard (or experienced, in this case) of kramer knives having a somewhat poor quality control. That’s a shame… Anyway, I’ll let you know when I get the replace.
